Dr Luke Ivancevic
Dr Luke continues with Takapuna Health having joined Dodson Medical in May 2004. Along with my family I moved to New Zealand from Yugoslavia in 1995 and live locally. I completed my General Practice training in Auckland in 2002. I am experienced in all aspects of General Practice, including children's health, men's and women's health, as well as preventative healthcare and chronic disease management.
I have a special interest in skin cancer treatment. I strongly believe that best medical care in the long term is from a doctor who knows you, your past medical history and family history. Good doctor-patient relationships facilitate implementation of preventative health strategies as well as the management of acute medical problems, which is important for long term health.

MBBS DCH DRCOG MRCGP RNZCGP
I studied medicine at St Georges Hospital in London and came to New Zealand on an OE in 1991 and met my Kiwi husband to be at that time. I have been working on the North Shore since 2005, previously in Devonport. I joined to Takapuna Health having been a partner at Dodson Medical since 2010. My special interests are paediatrics and child health, early pregnancy care and advice, gynaecology, and women's health. I am a member of the Australasian Menopause Society and have been driving to get more balanced information out online and in to the media regarding HRT treatments.
While working in Milford I have developed an interest in Care of the Elderly, doing clinics weekly at Poynton. I have also up skilled in dermatology and the management of skin lesions - performing minor surgery regularly in-house in our Surgical Procedures Suite. What I enjoy most about general practice is getting to know people over time and the challenges of explaining new treatments and concepts in a balanced way to help patients make informed decisions on their care.

In 2011 I came to New Zealand together with my family and worked at Family Doctors @ Smales for 8 years. I moved to Takapuna Health having joined Dodson Medical Centre in March 2020..
I enjoy all aspects of general medicine. It is a great privilege to be part of the well-being of so many individuals and families over the years. I appreciate the opportunities to initiate positive changes in the life of my patients. Being part of this is very rewarding.
To meet the needs of the intense sun exposure of our country, I have completed a Certificate in Skin Cancer Dermoscopy and Surgery in 2013.
In 2014 I started a postgraduate study with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine to be able to offer an integrative approach of treatment for all interested patients. This means first and foremost to look at lifestyle and nutrition as a possible cause and treatment for a disease.
It also incorporates treatment with bio-identical hormones and IV Vit C for certain needs.
Apart from being a GP I enjoy living locally on the Shore with my family and like to do Pilates, Yoga, Jogging, Reading and Cooking.
Dr Robert Ni
I’m excited to be able to join the Dodson Medical team in March 2023 and will be following the team in the move over to Takapuna. A little bit about myself: my family hails from Mainland China but I’m a born and raised Auckland local and have also completed my medical training at the University of Auckland.
After graduating, I spent a few years in the 4 major hospitals in Auckland with initially an interest in General Surgery. I later became enamoured with the wide breadth of opportunities General Practice offered and am currently on the pathway to attain my fellowship on the General Practice specialist training scheme. I’m happy to see all varieties of problems and diagnoses but I have a special interest in surgical, men’s health and chronic care conditions. In my spare time I like to spend time hiking, cooking and doing a bit of DIY. I also speak conversational Mandarin which I am still refining.
